There are so many talented, hardworking people in this union, even if you might not know their names. SHOWRUNNER BABY. Can I be vulnerable? I was a doubter, I was a hater, I told Cody this show was impossible. Apparently so did everyone else. I’m so FUCKING happy I was wrong and she didn’t listen. I basically didn’t see her for a year, she ran the writers’ room out of her house, I’m so proud of her, she killed herself to make the hilarious, fucked up, heartwarming show that is Jury Duty.

Big day for ol’ Anna. Armchair Expert episode on Spotify. Started listening to this podcast because my life was basically falling apart. It was my constant companion, and modeled honesty and acceptance when I was desperate for both. I was really terrified having this conversation and I’m SO grateful to Dax and Monica for having me, and for the space the create. I cry like 4 times, and then compensate by talking fast and trying to sound super put together…. and then cry again. So, classic Kendrick moves throughout.
