Decision paralysis has been my biggest obstacle this year (and all the other years...) I know it all too well, like with this account. We haven’t posted for a while, because I would find a reason to hate every drawing, picking it apart into pieces, going back and forth on every part of it, freezing me into place. It’s crazy how controlling our internal voices can become if we let it. I’m teaching myself that perfectionism will never serve me, even when the illusion is strong. I love the phrase “fail faster”; I recognize that I’m in my own way, so I gotta get past myself to grow. - GOverall, I feel like my emotions and thoughts have dictated my actions, rather than allowing them to surface, and releasing with love & tenderness. I’ve been stuck in the same spiral (emotional paralysis), trying to distract or numb. If beating myself up worked, I’d be “healed” a long time ago…. my friends have taught me a lot about self love this year. Very grateful for their patience, HUGS and wisdom. They have taught me to give love to all the “good” and “bad”. Our thoughts and emotions should inform rather than control our narratives.❤️ WE SURVIVED ANOTHER YEAR❤️????Onwards we go!! - K
