the first time I shot in this studio was years ago when I was still finding my way in the modeling industry. I was unsure of how my career would turn out, but just remembered I was so eager to keep going. I was excited and nervous every time I would show up to a set. I could barely sleep the night before because I didn’t know anyone I was going to be working with and I wanted everyone to like me and never be dissatisfied with hiring me. I still find myself working through those feelings the night before big shoot days. But as I experience life more I’ve been tapping into what I’m feeling and why I’m feeling them and I’ve realized how over worrying and overthinking are such a waste of energy. I can’t control how others perceive me but I can control where I put my focus and direct my energy. If only I could have told my younger self on this same set years ago to just enjoy where I’m at because everything I was dreaming up was on its way … I would have saved myself a lot of unnecessary stress on my body and mind. This is a reminder that nothing will pass you by that is meant for you. The more you allow yourself to flow with the ups and downs of life the more we can settle into the unknown. And with that, I’m excited to share very soon what we shot in this studio all these years later. My younger self had a moment of reflection in this same makeup chair proud of the hungry mindset I still carry with me today because another manifested dream job came to life right there ????‍♀️????
