When I first saw this photo by the incredible @oliviabee for @rangerevolution I gasped. Who was SHE? I saw 39-not 29. I saw motherhood. I saw peace. I saw her smelling the wind and feeling the grass. As my best friend @alishakalisher said: that's the most authentically "you" photograph I've ever seen. Most of my thoughts this week have focused on how I can do my part to make the world, and the Earth a better place. Something tangible. I have BIG goals for 2025, #1 is to stop my cycle of overconsumption and attempt to do a "no buy year" of buying nothing new clothing wise or nothing that isn't "sustainable" .... no "wants" only "needs"... thanks to @jessannkirby ???? (follow her and join her Substack to join us in the new year) I've also invested my heart and $ into brands I know are doing work to heal our Earth. @christydawn @crittycat00 is one of my favorites and I love that I can invest in their regeneratively farmed cotton initiative and know what I'm putting on my skin is made with the health of ourselves and the earth FIRST.
